Stefanie Gabriele (Head Instructor Temecula Training Center)
I Started Martial Arts at 3 years old in a traditional system for 7 years. At 10 years old my dad made a switch to Krav Maga, which I have been studing ever since. I have been teaching for over 10 years. I attend seminars all over the country to better educate myself. Each seminar is different but either helps me to better my teaching skills or my techniques. In 2009 I got won Instuctor of the Year, by Educational Funding Company.
A few hobbies of mine are horse back riding, golf, and just relaxing at the beach.
But of course Krav Maga is a hobby as well. I love what I do and plan on doing it till I can't anymore...
Amanda Estrada (Gabriele) (Instructor / Program Director)
I have been training in Martial Arts for over 20 years now. I started age age 4 with my sister Stefanie. I Started in a traditional system from Japan, and about 7 years later started Krav Maga.
I achieved my Black Belt in 2000.
I started helping my dad assisting on the floor at age 12 and fell in love with it. Shortly after that I started taking my own group in the 5-7 year olds. I then started teaching the Dragons, and youth, and eventually the teen and adult classes as well.
My Dad is my idol when it comes to Krav Maga, I always wanted to be like him and still do.
I have trained all over the United States, participating in seminars and conventions, to become a better instructor. In 2009 I started the position of program director and loving it.
I am now expecting my first Baby. My hobbies are spending time with my family and my dog Leo.
Peter Fusaro (Program Director & Instructor)
I started teaching at West Coast Krav Maga in January 2011. West Coast Krav Maga is my home away from home because of how family oriented our training centers are. I've completed 2 levels of instructor training through Krav Maga Worldwide and I am looking forward to continuing my growth as a Krav Maga practitioner and as an instructor.
I was born and raised in Rhode Island in which I spent most of my youth and teen years playing competitive soccer. Playing collegiate, Olympic, and semi-professional soccer instilled the values such as perseverance, work ethic, and competition.
I was first introduced to Krav Maga about six years ago and have been hooked ever since because of how it is that we train; which are the effective and realistic self defense techniques that I believe are necessary for every individual.
Before moving to California in 2011, I was also a martial arts instructor in Karate and Muay Thai. This gave me a solid foundation in self defense and prompted my journey in Krav Maga.
Due to the mindset, aggression, and realistic approach to self-defense, Krav Maga is my passion and I believe it should be learned by all.
My goals for my career with Krav Maga are to positively impact the lives of all the students I teach and I hope to direct my own school one day.
Kristyn Poillot (Program Director & Instructor)
I have been a resident of Temecula since 2005. Back in August of 2007, a friend referred me to West Coast
Krav Maga. He had enrolled his children in the youth program and thought it was something that would suit me and my daughters. He was right! The first day I watched a class, I was hooked! My daughters were 8 and 13 at the time. The three of us girls decided to enroll in the program. After 4 years of hard work, all 3 of us have successfully achieved our black belts. The journey was amazing and rewarding on so many levels. The experience and influence it had on my life was life changing.
I started teaching at WCKM as a kickboxing instructor in the summer of 2011. I became a certified Krav Maga instructor after completing Phase A training at Krav Maga World Wide in October of 2011. Since then, I have also completed Phase B Instructor Certification, and I have dedicated my life to empowering our students with the knowledge and skills of Krav Maga. I believe is not only practical, but the best line of defense in any situation.
Fitness has always been a part of my life. I grew up playing sports and dancing for 8 years. I became a personal trainer and sports nutritionist in the spring of 2009. I truly enjoy teaching and empowering the lives of our students. I plan on continuing my training and certifications to the highest degree and look forward to the opportunity to be a part of our student’s growth and journey at West Coast Krav Maga.
